Do heat pumps work in cold weather?
Yes. They are the dominant heating technology in countries far colder than Britain. Output efficiency falls as temperatures drop, which is why correct sizing for your home’s heat loss matters more than headline figures.
Do I need to replace my radiators?
Sometimes some of them. Heat pumps run at lower flow temperatures, so a few radiators may need to be larger to deliver the same warmth. A proper heat-loss survey identifies exactly which, before you commit to anything.
