Who can get it
- Smart meter providing half-hourly readings required (SMETS2, or a Secure SMETS1)
- A solar system and a home battery, per Octopus's stated eligibility list; Octopus's page says it works with all solar and battery systems
- Must be an Octopus Energy customer for both import and export (export is onboarded through Outgoing Octopus first)
- An Export MPAN is required; Octopus can apply for one if the household does not have it
- MCS documentation for the solar system is required before the switch completes
Combined import-and-export tariff: Flux prices both directions on the same three-band structure. It is not paired with a separate Octopus import product, and the export rates above only apply on Flux.

Does this pair with a Clearline installation?
Yes, in principle. Octopus Energy does not require the solar or battery to be installed by Octopus Energy itself for this rate. A battery is still a condition of the tariff, whoever installs it.
