Who can get it
- Smart meter providing half-hourly readings required (SMETS2 or compatible SMETS1)
- A solar system and home battery, per Octopus's stated eligibility list
- Must be an Octopus Energy customer for both import and export
- An Export MPAN is required; Octopus can apply for one if the household doesn't have it
- MCS documentation for the solar installation
Combined import-and-export tariff -- Flux prices both directions together on the same three-band structure; it is not paired with a separate Octopus import product.
Does this pair with a Clearline-arranged installation?
Yes, in principle. Octopus Energy does not require the solar or battery to be installed by Octopus Energy itself for this rate. A battery is still a condition of the tariff, whoever installs it.
