Who can get it
- Renewable generation technology must be MCS or FlexiOrb certified
- Meter capable of half-hourly export readings required (typically a smart meter)
- Total installed capacity of 5MW or less (50kW or less for micro-CHP)
- Generating system must be located in Great Britain
- Cannot also be receiving Feed-in Tariff export payments
- A GBP 100 exit fee applies if you switch away from Octopus in the first 12 months
